Having some fun with some Shrinky-Dinks for the big underground Shrinky-Dink show at Session Space in East Oakland. These are all screen printed monotypes with acrylic water-based ink. Deer and great auk skeletons.
… are the fastest members of the animal kingdom. When preying on other birds, peregrines can dive through the air at speeds of over 200 mph! Usually, the impact from the dive (or stoop) will kill or stun the prey, and then the peregrine will retrieve the prey in mid-air. This fearless species also happens to be one of the most common and widespread birds of prey in the world.
Digital positive for screen printing. The black will be the opening in the photo emulsion stencil and the negative space will be the trees. I’m printing these on wood so the natural wood will be the tree and the sky will be ink.
